Front Desk

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience by providing superior customer service and in turn creating true fans of the brand
  • Assist customers from the initial check-in process all the way through to the completion of their repair
  • Provide repair and replacement estimates for the customer
  • Communicate with the customer to explain technical issues in an easy to understand and informative manner
  • Provide additional recommendations for accessory up-selling
  • Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner ensuring that you are always committed to converting the phone call to a store visit
  • Listen and react to customer inquiries. Offer our full suite of services (buybacks, repairs, used device sales etc.) to solve problems and fulfill their needs
  • Utilise the Point-of-Sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and real-time status of customer repairs
  • Organise, receive stock, and manage inventory counts in accordance with Company requirements
  • Work with the team to maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the store
  • Follow a purchase & inspection matrix for buying devices from customers

Technicians

We are looking for qualified Technicians to repair customers’ devices. The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and accurately and will possess a great problem-solving ability to fix issues and ensure functionality. The goal is to maintain high quality repairs and customer service.

Computer technician

Responsibilities:

  • Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers
  • Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality
  • Identify and request appropriate parts for repair
  • Have a breakage record of 5% or lower
  • Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference
  • Offer timely technical support and show customers how to utilize their computer correctly

Core Competencies:

  • Proven experience as computer technician or similar role
  • Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Very good communication abilities
  • Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, engineering, or relevant field
  • Relevant certifications will be an advantage
  • Software troubleshooting
  • Computer repairs and diagnostics
  • Micro soldering

Phone Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair smartphones and tablets using tools and equipment
  • Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality
  • Identify and request appropriate parts for repair
  • Have a breakage record of 5% or lower
  • Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference
  • Offer timely technical support and show customers how to utilize their devices correctly

Core Competencies:

  • Proven experience as phone repair technician or similar role
  • Thorough knowledge of IOS and Android systems and components
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Very good communication abilities
  • Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, engineering, or relevant field
  • Relevant certifications will be an advantage
